I am delighted to say that my Art Nouveau Floral design has been featured in the January 2012 (Issue 63) edition of Perfect Wedding Magazine!  As we are heading into the festive season, we are being surrounded by all things sugar and spice, so Perfect Wedding Magazine has taken the opportunity to issue a feature on Peach & Cranberry wedding colour schemes.  My design is sitting quite comfortably next to Peggy Porschen’s butterfly cookies...what an honour!

Bespoke Invitation Design - An Affordable Option

Looking for invitations for a wedding or other event?  Would you prefer a bespoke invitation but can only afford a personalised stationery design?  If so, read on...

Wendy Bell Designs is currently offering customers the opportunity to have bespoke invitation designs created for their wedding or event for the price of personalised.  For a limited time, we are getting rid of our design fees so that our customers can still have the invitation designs that they deserve in spite of the current economic climate.  This means that you can potentially pay as little as £2.10 per invitation for a bespoke design!

How it works?

All of our personalised designs come in two sizes (150mm x 150mm & 99mm x 210mm) and are digitally printed, double sided onto heavyweight 400gsm card and come with plain white envelopes.  To take advantage of our Bespoke Invitation Design Special Offer, your unique design will be printed in the same format.  

We will discuss your ideas, where you’re holding your event, what you like and don’t like.  We will then provide you with 2-3 design concepts based on everything we have discussed.  You then choose which is your favourite design and whether you want any changes to be made.  After any necessary amendments, we will send you a PDF proof via email for your approval...This should be the final stage of the design process, though at this point, there is still time to make last minute adjustments if necessary.   Once you are happy with the final design, we shall send it to our printers!

Are there any additional costs involved?

Any special print finishes (e.g. gold & silver ink, embossing, varnishing etc), special card (e.g. pearlised) or coloured/textured envelopes will be at an additional cost to the customer.

Rest assured that Wendy Bell Designs will work closely with you every step of the way to ensure that you are completely satisfied with your bespoke invitation and stationery designs.

Exclusive Kensington Roof Gardens Stationery Designs Sneak Peak!

As promised in my last entry, I thought I’d let you all see a little sneak preview of some of the designs that I have created exclusively for Kensington Roof Gardens.  If you’re getting married, or holding an event at the Roof Gardens, these designs will be available for you to personalise.  A flamingo theme runs through each design, paying homage to the resident birds that grace the Roof Gardens; they are always deemed somewhat of a novelty for guests attending an event there, as it’s not often you would see them sauntering around in central London outside of London Zoo!

I have put together three stationery packages for the Roof Gardens; Gold, Platinum and Diamond, which all differ in content slightly.  However, they all include the essential items such as invitations, individual personalised menu cards, table names/numbers and a table plan.

Getting married at the Roof Gardens in Kensington?  Looking for an unusual, funky, trendy and glamorous wedding venue?

I am so happy to announce that the seriously glamorous Roof Gardens, located in the heart of Kensington, have asked Wendy Bell Designs to be one of their recommended stationery suppliers!  This has been brewing for a few months and it’s been extremely hard to keep it a secret; I feel truly honoured.

The Roof Gardens is 1.5 acres of land situated 100 feet above Kensington High Street.  It is immaculately maintained and consists of three themed gardens, The Spanish Garden, The Tudor Garden and the English Woodland; the latter is where you will find their resident flamingoes who are always the stars of the show!

The gardens are spectacular and it is extremely hard to believe that you are in the heart of London, let alone up on a roof!  It is possible for members of the public to visit the Roof Gardens to have a look around on certain days of the year, and it is definitely worth it.  It is particularly nice to have a wander around the gardens after a spot of lunch and a cocktail at their restaurant, Babylon, where they have a reasonably priced set lunch menu and the food is mouthwateringly delicious!

By night, the Roof Gardens becomes a private, members only club; a cross between a lounge bar and a night club.

If you have just got engaged, and you’re hunting for your wedding venue, hoping that you can find something special with a twist on traditional venues, then take a look around the Roof Gardens, as you never know, you just may fall in love with it.  I know I did!
